Investment in State-of-the-Art Testing Technology for the Connected Mobility of Tomorrow

Desay SV Europe celebrated the official opening of its new 3D antenna test chamber today in Weimar, with more than 80 guests in attendance. Among those present were Mario Suckert, State Secretary for Economic Affairs of the State of Thuringia; Xu Jian, CEO of Desay SV Automotive; and Peter Kleine, Lord Mayor of Weimar.

With the commissioning of the new facility, Desay SV Europe is further expanding its testing and validation capabilities for connected vehicles while also making a strategic investment in the future of vehicle communications. The 3D antenna test chamber is among the most advanced facilities of its kind in Europe and offers ideal conditions for evaluating the growing demands on connectivity, digital services, and wireless communication technologies.

Designed to support a broad range of vehicle platforms, the facility enables testing of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and heavy-duty trucks. Automotive manufacturers and suppliers gain access to a high-performance test environment where antenna and communication systems can be assessed under controlled and fully repeatable conditions.

"The opening of our new 3D antenna measurement chamber marks a major milestone for the company," said Yong Yang, Managing Director of Desay SV Europe. "This investment establishes one of Europe's most advanced testing environments for vehicle communications right here in Weimar. As connectivity and digital mobility continue to evolve rapidly, our new facility enables us to help customers address these challenges while further strengthening our technological footprint in the European market."

In addition to state-of-the-art measurement technology, the Weimar site builds on more than 15 years of expertise in antenna design, antenna testing, verification, and data analysis. The know-how developed at Desay SV's former subsidiary, ATC GmbH, in Itzehoe is now complemented by cutting-edge infrastructure in Weimar, creating an even stronger foundation for future growth.

"With our new antenna measurement chamber, we provide customers with an ideal environment for reliably evaluating and validating the performance of modern vehicle communication systems. We also support certification-related activities," said Henrik Linden, Head of Department Desay SV ATC. "By combining advanced testing technology with the extensive experience of our team, we deliver reliable and meaningful results that help customers shorten development cycles and bring products to market more efficiently."

Through this investment in Weimar, Desay SV Europe continues to expand its expertise in vehicle communications and supports the development of next-generation mobility solutions. The new 3D antenna measurement chamber is now available to automotive customers for measurement, testing, validation and design services.
