With its European headquarters in Weimar and a new plant in Spain, Desay SV Europe aims to be an enabler for the transformation of the automotive industry. The product areas include Smart Cabin, Smart Drive, Smart Service, and Smart Antenna.
The supplier Desay SV specializes in four key areas. With two production sites in Weimar for antenna and infotainment products, the supplier plans to expand further in Europe.
Following the groundbreaking ceremony in Linares, Spain, a new plant is being built there (production start in 2026). Sales offices are located in Gothenburg, Mladá Boleslav, Paris, and Wolfsburg – in close proximity to important automotive customers.
In China, Desay SV achieved a 22 percent market share (first place) in smart cabin domain controllers in 2024. Desay SV also leads the market in smart drive domain controllers (31 percent), in-vehicle infotainment (19 percent), and displays (18 percent). This has been achieved through full-stack expertise, open partnerships, and rapid market launches.
At CES 2025, Desay SV and Qualcomm jointly unveiled the G10PH AI cabin platform. Remarkably, Desay SV achieved screen activation just three months after the platform's launch and completed the minimum functional system lighting in a record time of only ten days, setting a new industry benchmark for speed of implementation.
At the heart of its success lies a commitment to highly efficient, high-quality hardware – a philosophy that the supplier describes as “getting it right the first time.” This capability is based on extensive experience from previous series projects. In addition, Desay SV uses advanced hardware design simulation tools to increase design reliability. For 2025, Desay SV ranked 58th in the global ranking of the 100 leading automotive suppliers. With sales growth of 25 percent over the previous year, the company also ranked 4th in global sales growth. The company was one of ten international suppliers to receive the Volkswagen Group Award 2025.
